It’s great when a project comes together that has involved multiple people from the Share Group and working for the Cedar Garden Rooms was one of those projects. Ascensor developed the website for the Wakefield based building firm looking to grow the garden office / room side of their business, but thanks to a great introduction from Peter of Key Financial Solutions, quite a few of us had had the opportunity to add value to the project, here’s how it all came about…


Peter is a non-executive Director of the firm and helps Andy and Gary develop strategies to grow their building and construction firm. A significant growth area for the brothers has been in the development of garden spaces, known as garden rooms or garden offices. Growth had come very organically, some advertising had taken place and with several projects under their belts, the decision was made to invest in marketing collateral to grow the profile.


The Cedar Garden Rooms projects are typically built for high net worth individuals, this generally means that the finished product really delivers a ‘wow’ factor. The rooms can include anything the owner can imagine from log burners, to kitchens, to full suites. The quality of the product was not being reflected in the marketing assets and it was clear that sales would grow off the back of collateral that really showed off the finished article.


Rosemary Hepburn, owner of the marketing firm Lyndon Associates was instructed to come up with the content that was needed to sell the service. New content was prepared to enhance the marketing message and of course the website copy.


David Kennedy, managing director of Wakefield based Custom Micros helped organise the company’s IT systems, including setting up a more effective email solution that would better support mobile and back-up to help manage designs and plans.


We built the website using the Ascensor Air website solution, which is perfect for a growing business. Ascensor Air allows clients to manage their own content through a professionally managed, mobile friendly website for an affordable price. As well as using the content prepared by Lyndon Associates, images were taken by Ade of McFade photography, they really set the website off and clearly convey the quality of the finished product.

This project was a perfect example of members of the Share Group working together to deliver value, and it isn’t finished there. We are continuing to support the business with digital marketing that is including Google Local marketing, and as new projects are delivered the rest of the Share team will be supporting the firm in generating the case studies to show off this fabulous product.
